The EmbodyBirth™ training is an online mentored teacher training that will run over a 6 month period. It is open to all global birth keepers whether doula, midiwfe, Dr, childbirth educator, prenatal consultant etc.
It includes all content, interactive group zooms, a 30min assessment and a certificate on completion as a lifelong EmbodyBirth™ teacher.

What is EmbodyBirth...
The EmbodyBirth™ Online Mentored Certification Educator Training asks us to seek for emotional intelligence in maternal care.
In seeking this, we are guided to a more potent understanding of WHO we are as birth keepers, WHY we do what we DO and HOW we can honorably serve women.
If we are going to facilitate this kind of conscious birth education, we need to be able to self-inquire, switch on self-awareness, and take self-responsibility.
Once we can honestly open these doorways within ourselves, we are more able to examine the beauty of birth as a rite of passage experience from a place of wholeness.
As teachers and mentors, we acknowledge the importance of upholding this full birthing declaration through the ways of the unhinged female voice. Here she will naturally anchor her rightful place in the world through Her voice of wise, authentic expression.
And when mothers truly EmbodyBirth™ and are seen, heard, and understood, they live life in this place of sovereign value, which has a marked impact on how they mother their children.

Introducing Maha...
Maha Al Musa has been the creator and founder of Embody Birth™ and BellydanceBirth® since 1997. Maha was born in Kuwait to a Palestinian father and Lebanese mother. Her father kidnapped her and her brother when Maha was a 6 month old baby. She was brought to Australia as a 2 year old in 1964. She was sent to boarding school at 4 and was essentially motherless till she was 7.
These early experiences and imprints have become the catalyst and inspiration for Maha's dedication to mothers and babies. Her fierce advocacy ensures mothers and babies stay together wherever possible and this underlies all her birthwork.
It was through her own birth experiences that she realised the power of the sacred womb narrative and dedicated her life to this truth.
She is an international, independent award-winning birth educator, activist and mentor. The author of the award-winning book Dance Of The Womb endorsed by Dr Michel Odent, Sheila Kitzinger and Dr Sarah Buckley, as well as the producer of the award winning video series Dance Of The Womb endorsed by the Australian Doula College and NACE Australia.
Most importantly, she is the mother to three beautiful children – two sons and a daughter - all born as nature intended. Maha's daughter was born at home - a water lotus birth, when Maha was 46 in 2008.
Maha breastfed her to natural term for 8.5 years and was an extensive pioneer advocate in the worldwide media for public and natural term breastfeeding from 2012-2016. Her story and advocacy went viral several times.
She has also taught her in-person certification training from 2010 both internationally and within Australia, with extensive work in Asia, including China from 2017-2019.
Now, in 2024, Maha at 62, brings her acclaimed EmbodyBirth™ certification educator training into the online space after years of global requests!

The goal in teaching the wisdom of EmbodyBirth™ is to elevate birth, where mothers and babies are the true birthing experts experiencing birth as a ceremonial initiation regardless of outcomes, and where unnecessary meddling, disrespect and interference is not a part of her narrative. We must be aware that the birth imprint experienced by babies translates as societal imprints and infuses the world with either love or fear states. Self Paced Training -
We would like you to complete the self paced training and assessment within an 11 month period from date of purchase.Mentored Training with Maha
There will be regular group zoom sessions (approx 8 in total) over a 6 month period. This includes an assessment with Maha.

We suggest you complete over 11 months. As the training is delivered via pre-recorded videos and due to different time zones, as well as busy lives, we understand that you may need an extension, so please reach out to Maha via emailMentored Training
The Online Mentored Certification Educator Training is completed as group study with live zooms with Maha so we will all finish together.
If for any reason you cannot complete you can re enrol in the next years training for a small fee of US$300. -
Yes! Once you receive your certificate and completed the post training integration Part 4, you can share EmbodyBirth™ in any way that you like. We do ask that you always use the brands EmbodyBirth™ and BellydanceBirth® as well as Dance Of The Womb in your teachings, as well as displaying the branding logos. This will all be addressed in the training.
We encourage you to incorporate the EmbodyBirth™ teachings in your own offerings so you can share the wisdom and knowledge of this important birth education whilst respecting the brand and lineage. You have the freedom to add your own individual spice and voice to the teachings.
