Maha Al Musa is the founder and creator of EmbodyBirthTM (Maha’s signature childbirth education and preparation program for mothers-to-be and birth professionals who care for them since 1997), author of Dance of the Womb: The Essential Guide to Belly Dance for Pregnancy and Birth book, creator of the follow on BellydanceBirth® Practice Video Series (Dance of the Womb: A Gentle Guide to Belly Dance for Pregnancy and Birth), international speaker, natural birth and extended breastfeeding advocate, and a mother to 3 beautiful children, all born as nature intended.

Maha gave birth to her last, her daughter Aminah, when she was 46 years of age, a home water lotus birth and breastfed her till she self weaned at 8.5 years, when Maha was 54.5. Her book, Dance of the Womb: The Essential Guide to Belly Dance for Pregnancy and Birth (available in both hardcover and ebook formats) is a world first resource to exploring the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of belly dance as a prenatal exercise and process during labour.
